Well, it's been a while
I am now completely healed (in theory). My wrist still hurts a bit, and there are still some stitches left in the fuck-off scar on my shoulder, but other than that I am dandy!!
I am ridiculously excited about the extra time off. I don't know if it's cos I'm working harder this year, or because I'm sleeping less, but the prospect of extra time off excites me greatly.

So. School.

I have been at school for two days and I am already shattered. My holiday sleeping pattern does not agree with School's new 8:30 start. 8:30?! Who came up with THAT. Plus, a bunch of my friends aren't coming back, which sucks. But it does mean I am becoming closer with people who were formerly simply associates, which is awesome.

Not much else has been going on, hence this lack of blogging. I shall try to blog more, but about less, if you see what I mean.

And there is a new series of How I met your mother coming out in 17 days. I CANNOT wait.

Again, my blogging has fallen behind, and again, I'm sorry. It's really quite shameful

I am currently sitting on my sofa, typing this blog, completely alone (apart from my dog. the cats are out). My parents have abandoned me and gone on holiday for the bank holiday.

And I'm really quite happy about it. I can eat when I want, sleep when I want, walk round semi-undressed when i want, and i dont have to try and keep anyone happy but myself! (see here)

not much else to say, except that only 5 days left before the return of school. oh dear.

Wow... I didn't even make it to three days consecutively. That is shameful. I have been busy, to be fair

Eventful times people! Results came out (1 A, 2 Bs and a C, Kerching), which means I don't have to worry about them. brilliant

also, we now have less than 2 weeks of the holiday left. This is half good and half bad. Good because I'll will get to see all the people that I have no excuse for hanging out with outside of school (this is Saboo's concept, as detailed here), and bad because I have barely scraped the surface of my summer homework.

And now, because I can and my mother is DEFINATELY not reading this, a rant. my first online one of this kind, in fact:

My parent is a twat. the man she is with, is also a twat. And my Dad is dead.

My Mum's partner (lets call him Dick) treats my sister and I like we are 4 year olds. He is generally condescending, completely disrespectful to other people's space and belongings, and follows my Mum everywhere she goes. Dick has also convinced my mum that his say-so is needed if Me and Sis are making arrangements, even if these plans effect neither him or mum. For instance, if Sis is going to town with her friends on the bus, my Mum will say "check with Dick". He will then give Mum a reason why Sis can't go, which is completely invalid, purely for the sake that he believes we are small children and, as such, need protecting. It's getting to the point where I no longer ask. I tell them what I am doing and walk out before He can put his tiny mind to work on why I shouldn't be going.

My Mum is a twat because she lets this happen. She is a completely different person when he is around, and is also starting to believe this "FOA and Sis are small and need protecting" Bullshit. She forget's that Dick isn't the omniscient, and will take his word over ours, even if what we are arguing about is something that has got nothing to do with him, or he wasn't there at the incedent.

She also has convinced herself that the universe revolves around her and that everything anyone does is done with an intention of affecting her. for instance, I walk in after staying out two nights. It takes her all of thirty seconds to decide that I am not tired, I am maliciously trying to "make me feel shitty and ruin my day", to use her words. This happens every time I am angry, tired or upset in any way, no matter what the cause of my mood was. As such, I have to laugh at all of Dick's jokes, smile and agree with Whatever either of them says, And try to aviod any extended conversation with her so I don't make a remark that her convoluted mind could percieve as a barb against her.

Wow, long one. Needed to get that out.

Also, Saboo tells me that his blog tracker thing doesn't track this blog, so if it's the same for you I implore you to keep checking manually. I will be blogging regularly, especially with the return of school

I am trying to post on this blog daily, to keep a flow of blogs going. So here is today's.

I am trying to do my maths homework. this is annoying on two accounts. Firstly, we haven't covered this in class, so I have to learn something completely new, and secondly, i keep getting distracted by watching TV on the internet. Oh well, can't be helped. I'll keep going really, really slowly.
